Can The Food You Eat Make You Sick?
Discovering what works.
I’ve been on a mission to improve my health. For the past six months, I’ve been a carnivore.
Carnivore is a great elimination diet. I’ve been strict, and there have been cheats, too, which is how I find out what I can and can not eat. I still have a long way to go to get where I want to be.
I have done keto in the past and figured out my body feels better on low carbs, but I still ate some — low-carb soft taco shells, for example. I can’t do that anymore, and I’ll tell you why later. I will still have occasional veggies in season.
I lost thirty pounds, but things happened, and I gained it back. I went through an emotional rollercoaster: I was bullied at work, and gaslighting-which resulted in severe depression and anxiety.
My self-esteem took a dive. Chemicals change in your body, and you gain and hold on to fat more…plus I ate things I knew were bad for me. I ate my feelings for many, many months. Chocolate ice cream is a weakness for me.
If you have never experienced narcissism or severe emotional manipulation, you have no freaking clue how bad it is, and be thankful for that.
