I broke down and turned the heat on for an hour. The temperature in the house was 59. I got it up to 68 degrees and turned it back off.

Yesterday I put the straw on the garlic I planted to protect them over the winter months. I picked what will probably be the last of my tomatoes and peppers. I’m not sure what I will do with all of them. I picked a bunch of green tomatoes as well, as I don’t think there will be time for them to ripen before we get our first frost.
